About Troy
Troy is the President and owner of 1031 Exchange Corporation. The firm specializes in the exchange of residential, commercial and business investment property, allowing owners to defer paying taxes on the proceeds from sale. In this role, Troy works directly with clients, closing officers and real estate professionals, providing consultation throughout every step of the process and managing the day-to-day transactions, administration, accounting, finance and marketing for the company.
Troy received his Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning from Texas Tech University and received his MBA from San Jose State University. In 2018, Troy became a Certified Exchange Specialist (CES®) and continues to keep his knowledge current by participating in continuing education classes. His clients include national and local real estate investors, ranch owners, commercial business owners, banks, CPA firms, mortgage offices and insurance companies.
Troy has presented educational seminars for the Williamson County Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, Texas Real Estate Commission, Austin Board of Realtors® and many other professional offices. He is an approved instructor of MCE accredited courses for real estate professionals by the Texas Real Estate Commission for continuing education.
His interests include spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, music, and cheering on all his favorite Texas sports teams.
